A balanced diet includes the food your body consumes. The food intake your body goes through could be separated into 7 terms, all together these terms are known as nutrients. It is important that your body takes a lot of different nutrients to help it improve and build a stronger body.
These nutrients can benefit many different parts of your body such as your immune system. It can fight disease, illness or even viruses. Then again another 2 important terms that should be memorized are macro nutrients and micro nutrients.
Macro nutrients are basically the nutrients that you for energy. Macro meaning large therefore macro nutrients need to be taken in large portions. These days, our energy consumption is large therefore we need macro nutrients to help us gain energy.
On the other hand, micro nutrients are usually taken in small amounts and these are the vitamins and minerals to keep our body healthy and also to strengthen our immune system.
The 7 nutrients are:
fats:Keeps you warm and gives you energy when you run out.
Proteins:To grow strong muscles and also is the structure that forms your cells and tissues.
Carbohydrates:provide energy for your body
Minerals:Minerals prevent constipation (along with fibre) and they also are needed for fluid balance and stomach acids
Vitamins:Needed for energy metabolism rates, enzymes and even skin care.
Water:water is needed for your body's transportation system, temperature regulation and even the chemical reactions that occur in your body
fibre:to prevent constipation (to soften your waste)

EVALUATION
I think my diet was pretty good, i only lacked a few nutrients such as my vitamins. I believe that I have to eat more vitamins to have a good diet. I frequently drank water, therefore i kept myself hydrated.
I consumed a good amount of proteins, less vitamins, water, minerals, carbohydrates, less fibre and a good amount of fats.
I think I could have has more vitamins to complete a balanced diet.
HAVING A BALANCED DIET SHOULD LOOK LIKE--->>>>
Breakfast:Sandwich: one slice of ham, one slice of cheese, 1 fried egg, tomatoes and 2 slices of brown bread
Lunch: Chinese styled fried long beans, grilled pork and a bowl of soup
Dinner: Greek salad, friend salmon fish (marinated with butter, salt and pepper)
I think this is a goood diet because it contains a variety of different meals. The breakfast contains carbohydrates to provide energy for the rest of our day.
All meals have a sufficient amount of vitamins, minerals and most of the other nutrients. I thinks this diet is interesting because of the different variety of cultures included in each meal.
